Full self-custody
Your keys, your crypto. No intermediary.
Self-custody means you hold the keys. Not Deblock, not a custodian,
not a third party. It's the most important thing about your wallet, and the hardest to get right.
Most crypto apps are custodial. They hold your assets for you, like a bank vault you can't open yourself. Self-custody flips that: you hold the key, and nobody else has a copy.
e.g Revolut, Binance, Coinbase, TradeRepublic…
e.g Deblock, Ledger, Metamask…

Your assets survive even if we don't.
The number one fear with self-custody. Deblock solves it with a split-key recovery system, designed so that only you can ever reconstruct your wallet, but you can always do it.
When you sign up, your phone creates two things: your seed phrase (the master key to your wallet) and a separate encryption key. Your seed phrase gets encrypted into a recovery package. The encryption key stays with you via email, your cloud account, and a trusted escrow.
Deblock only ever sees the encrypted package. Without your encryption key, it's useless gibberish. And the encryption key on its own doesn't unlock anything either. You need both halves and only you have both.
Lose your phone? Deblock sends you the encrypted package, you decrypt it with your encryption key, and your wallet is back. No support ticket, no 30-day wait, no "we'll look into it".
Owning your keys is the right model. But traditionally, it comes with real pain points. Deblock fixes the two that matter most.
To move any token on-chain, you need the chain's native coin (ETH, SOL, etc.) to pay the transaction fee. It's common to own tokens but have no gas to move them, you're stuck.
When Deblock detects you can't afford the gas, it automatically airdrops just enough native token to complete the transaction. You don't even notice it happened.
Transactions on Layer 1 chains like Bitcoin or Ethereum can take minutes, sometimes longer, with fees that spike under load.
Deblock supports Layer 2 networks: Lightning Network, Base, Arbitrum, and more. Where transactions confirm in seconds, not minutes.
